Old name for my cousin

I remember having a cousin born sometime around 2001 or 2002. Then in 2013 he changed his name to a brand new name he called it "Bomb King" to focus as a kid rapper. I think his former name began with J, and the name seems to be erased forever. Do you guys know the former name?

King and Bomb are both chess-related terms. Maybe his old name was related to chess too? Like, Jared, because it sounds like 'jarred' which could relate to the unexpected move a player might make?? I might be overthinking this...

Bomb King, yeah, I remember vaguely hearing some of his stuff. Got to appreciate the name change and creating his own brand. It seems Jared Barnes wanted to detach from his past, J being a remnant. Interesting story.

Among them were names like Jacob, Joshua, Justin, Jonathan, Jack, and many others. Do any of these ring a bell? This might be a tedious process but perhaps an extensive review of popular names from that period might jog your memory.
