Defunct UK channel?

So there once used to be a TV channel airing sports from the mid 80s to the early 90s. It broadcasted in the UK and Europe. I remember watching it until Eurosport existed. What is it? It's driving me crazy!

I think it might be Screensport. My older brother used to watch football on it. Or was it cricket? I can't remember!

Yeah it's Screensport! It was launched as Satellite Television Sport Club, then renamed Screensport and operated from '84 till '93 when it went into liquidation after threat of a Eurosport merger.

I reckon you might be referring to the old 'Screensport' channel mate. They used to broadcast various sports before getting taken over by Eurosport in '93.
