My remote control collection, a decade's worth

Alright fellas, I think it's time I shared my collection of remotes. It's a little over a decade's work of collecting. Here goes:

  1. Philips SBC RU 520: The Philips RU 520 was my first addition. There was something about the bulky design and the clear, well-defined buttons that drew me in.

  2. Sony RM-VL1000T: The Sony RM-VL1000T was a step in a more high-tech direction. The LCD screen was quite a feature when it first came out!

  3. Bang & Olufsen Beo4: The Beo4. I fell in love with the unusual form factor. The metal finish just adds a touch of elegance.

  4. RC: Anycast Touch: This one was tricky to get my hands on. Love how it looks like an old school nokia phone.

  5. Logitech Harmony Elite: A modern wonder, really.

  6. Apple Siri Remote: This one included just for completeness. Not the best design by apple IMO.

That just about covers the highlights. If anyone's interested in the full list, let me know!

Damn! That nostalgia hit hard with the mention of the old school Nokia version. The Beo4 always had a unique charm with its unconventional design.

Surprised you're not more fond of the Apple Siri Remote. Despite its minimalist design, its touch surface and voice control capabilities take user interaction to the next level.

I must commend you on your admirable use of the English language. So often do I encounter subpar grammatical skills. It's refreshing to encounter clearly described items.

Really dude? Remotes? Guess, some people just collect anything these days. Next we got folks collecting sponges from their sinks, lmao 😂

Nothing can compare to the awe induced by the clunky older models. Something so charming about that, especially when compared with today's sleek gesture-based designs. The Anycast touch surely brings back some memories, eh?

I don't get this collection thing, but if it makes you happy, go for it! I'd probably lose half of them in my couch cushions.

Impressive collection! But I must say, the Logitech Harmony Elite really stands out. Integrating multiple remote functions into one, IR and RF capabilities, and custom activities, it's a game-changer in the world of universal remotes.

Wow! That's some awesome collection u got there. I'm a collector myself and I got to admit, the Philips SBC RU 520 was always my fave. The Anycast is really hard to find, kudos
