Seriously, who likes wandering around on an island with zero direction?! Puzzles are stupid hard, graphics look like something from a kid's art class project. Fight me!

Myst is an innovative masterpiece in the realm of adventure games. Sure, it lacks direction and some puzzles are notoriously hard, but that's part of its charm. The open-world exploration gave players a sense of freedom and endless discovery, something quite unique for the time. Even the graphics, which now may appear outdated, were revolutionary for its time, utilizing fully 3D-rendered scenes.
While there's no combat, no time pressure, or high adrenaline moments, Myst offers something else - intrigue, atmosphere, and the satisfaction that comes with cracking a particularly difficult puzzle. And remember, this was at a time when there were no online walkthroughs.
We all have our preferences, and that's what makes gaming such a diverse hobby. But to label it as the 'Worst Game Ever' may be a tad unfair. It's just a different breed of game.

I actually quite enjoyed Myst. It's not about action, it's about the challenge of the puzzles and immersion in another world. It's relaxing, in a strange kind of way. Casual players may not appreciate the slow pace and lack of hand-holding, but that's what drew me to it.

Myst is one of the pioneering games in the adventure puzzle genre, dude. It paved the way for other iconic games. Yeah, the graphics seem a bit dated now but for the time (90s) it was cutting edge. It's not everyone's cup of tea but for many of us who grew up in that era, it's a crucial part of gaming heritage.
