Scored a sweet deal on an original Sega Genesis!

Heads up! Was out on a trip through the flea market and bumped into a guy selling a pretty decent looking Sega Genesis for only 20 bucks!! No cables or games, just the console, but man it's a steal considering the condition. Guess it's time to stock up on some old games I used to play as a kid! Lemme know if y'all know some good spots for Genesis game scores.

Nice score! Got an NTSC or a PAL machine there? Got some spare games, maybe we can do a trade?

Well done on the bargain! As a tip, if you're looking for games, remember - patience pays. Set up price alerts on eBay, keep an eye on local classifieds and game shops. You'd be surprised how many people get rid of old games not knowing their value. Also join some gaming collectors' forums, trades happen there quite often.

Reading this made me all nostalgic, I used to love my Genesis back in the day. Streets of Rage and Altered Beast were my faves. Enjoy the nostalgia trip, mate!

Congratulations on the find! It's always great to add more hardware to your collection. If you're looking for game cartridges, there's a spot in California called 'The Retro Game Trader' that has countless Genesis games. They also have an online store, which you can check out. And don't forget to pick up a copy of Sonic The Hedgehog, it's a must-have for any Sega Genesis owner.

Wow, that's a cool find. I've been looking to start retro gaming myself. Any tips for a newbie on what games to get first for Genesis?

20 bucks for a Genesis, that's killer man! As for games, eBay's your friend. If you're lookin' for cheap games, there's always Mak Japan and Nin-nin game sites, but it might take a bit for shipping. If you want somethin' local, pop some listings on Craigslist or check out Flea Markets at the weekend.

Sweet deal on the Genesis! Well done. When it comes to old games, try hitting up local thrift shops or garage sales. You'll be amazed what people dump as 'junk'. Also, online spots like eBay or even Retro Games Collector website always have some interesting finds.
