What's an MVP??

Just heard someone mention an MVP for startups... feels like I'm missing something? Is it a product or a process or what?? Help lol.

MVP = Minimum Viable Product! The emphasis is on minimum and viable. Validate hypotheses about your product by delivering it to your customer segment in the leanest way possible. It's all about reducing waste and maximizing learning 📚

Oh boy, the number of times I've heard people say 'build an MVP' and expect miracles. Sure, MVPs are crucial, but don't forget to actually know your market and your audience. An MVP isn't a silver bullet if you have no idea what problem you're solving.

Build fast, learn fast! That's the MVP motto! Get real user feedback and then, iterate like crazy :)

minimum viable process initially lol. It's like, imagine you wanna start a bakery. Instead of renting a store and baking 50 kinds of bread, you start by selling your 3 best recipes at a farmer's market. It's a way to validate your business idea without huge risk.

MVPs are overrated sometimes tbh. People act like launching the shoddiest version of your app is somehow revolutionary. Don't forget: first impressions count. But yeah, it's supposed to be that initial trial balloon of your concept.

Lol yea I wondered the same thing at first. Think of an MVP like a draft version of your big idea but people can use it and ideally love it, or hate it, or give you feedback that makes it better!

It's Minimum Viable Product! Basically, it's the most stripped-down version of your product that still provides value to early adopters. You wanna get something out there quick to test assumptions and gather feedback without wasting time/money building something no one wants.
