Stop focusing on funding first!

So damn tired of newbies thinking the first step is to find investors. No, build your product, show some traction, get some real users, THEN think about funding. Getting investment for a product with zero traction is a pipe dream.

Couldn't agree more. Look at the data - most successful startups began with a solid user base before they ever sought out investors. Focus on validation metrics and user feedback first.

I work on my startup just on weekends. Haven’t even thought about funding yet, just trying to make something useful. If it's good, the funding will figure itself out.

Bootstrap it! Save the equity, keep control. I built my own startup by reinvesting revenue and cutting costs wherever possible. It's slow but rewarding.

Why even build a product lol? Just get some cool-looking slides and a catchy name. That's all it takes, right? 😂

100% right. It's about hustling and grinding. Build something that works, get feedback, iterate. The funding will come if the product is strong!

This is super helpful. I was just about to start looking for funding, but maybe I should focus on the product more.

As an investor, I can tell you - folks need to remember investors want to see a proof of concept. No one's gonna hand over cash for just an idea. Show some traction, we need to see there’s a market for your product.

Yeah, I started working on my app in my spare time after work. Took a while, but once I got a few users, feedback came in, and I kept tweaking it. Only then I started thinking about funding. It wasn’t easy but worth it!

Totally agree. So many ppl think it's Shark Tank time from day 1. Smh. Focus on making something people actually want first.
