How to hit your first 1k users?

Alright, I've been grinding away at my startup and we're stuck at like 250 users. The product is dope, it's a productivity tool for small biz owners, and our current users love it. What growth hacks have y’all used to break that 1k user barrier? Looking for unconventional wisdom here. No basic 'content is king' advice, please.

Can you create an API and get other existing products to integrate with yours? Cross-promotion through integrations can be a smooth way to tap into new user bases without the hard sell. Plus, it can really make your tool stickier for existing customers.

Experiment with unconventional PR stunts that can give you quick exposure. Do something newsworthy that hooks attention fast and makes people talk about it. Stunts like this can be risky but sometimes the rewards are huge.

What worked for a friend was doing a giveaway that only previous users could enter by bringing in new users. Not sure if that applies to your biz but could be worth a shot.

Look into affiliate marketing. Get some users to refer others, give them a commission for every sign-up. Make it easy with a solid referral system, and you can see some compounding growth.

Productivity tool? Just slap a 'Blockchain' label on it and watch the sign-ups roll in. Jk... or am I? 🚀

Here's a thought, build a free mini product or an irresistible piece of content that aligns w/ your productivity tool & requires sign-up to access. It's like bait. Once they see the value in your free stuff, they're more likely to try the full deal.

IMHO go and speak directly to your ideal customers where they hang. For small biz owners, maybe it's LinkedIn, Facebook groups, or local meetups. Networking like crazy often opens more doors than you expect!

Have you tried partnering with influencers in the small biz community? Get them to use your tool and share their experiences with it. If they dig it, their audience will likely give it a shot!
