Landing page feedback needed!

Just threw together a landing page for my side project. It’s a SaaS tool that helps freelance designers manage invoices and expenses in one place. If anyone's got a min to spare, I'd love some brutal feedback on the design and copy. PM me and I’ll shoot you the link. Cheers!

If you need an extra pair of eyes for copy editing, I'm your person. Spotted three typos in my cereal box this morning, it's a curse sometimes... Anyway, I'd be happy to help out with your landing page!

Do you have an eye-catching hero section? You know that's what grabs attention first. Running a side project myself so I'd love to see what you've come up with and share thoughts. Shoot me a link!

I've done a fair bit of both development and copywriting for landing pages. A few pointers I always follow:

  1. Keep the main value proposition above the fold.
  2. Ensure CTAs stand out and tell visitors exactly what they'll get by clicking.
  3. Testimonials and trust signals are key, especially for new SaaS products.
  4. For copy, clarity trumps cleverness any day. No room for ambiguity unless it's intentional.

Drop me that link, I can give you some detailed feedback using these principles.

lol every other tool offers invoice and expense management. What’s next? A SaaS for breathing? Originality is dead.

How important do you think it is to match the landing page vibe with the actual product UI? I'm in the process of redesigning mine and I'm torn between making the landing flashy or keeping it true to the product's simpler design.

Trust signals can't be overstated for sure. If they've got any notable users or even a 'Featured in' section with some media logos, that could help big time with credibility. Saw it missing on a lot of pages and seems like a missed opportunity. Hoping they've got something like that or planning to add it.

Those are rock-solid tips, my go-to as well. Would emphasize on A/B testing that CTA, too. Color, text, positioning—tiny tweaks can make or break conversion rates. Wonder how the OP's current CTA stacks up. Seen some 'Get Started' buttons so vague, you'd think clicking takes you on a mystery tour.

Awesome that you're working on something for us freelancers! Keeping track of expenses and invoices is a pain. I'd be happy to give some feedback if I'm part of your target audience. Link pls?

Does it have blinking text and marquee? If not, you’re clearly doing something wrong 😉

First time on this sub but I've got a keen eye for design and a brutal sense of honesty. Hit me up, can't wait to tear it apart (constructively, of course)!

Been in SaaS a while and seen tons of landing pages. I can give pointed advice on conversion optimization, copywriting, user flow, etc. Happy to help a fellow entrepreneur out. PM me the deets.

Hey, would love to take a look at your landing page. It's hard to nail the perfect design on the first try so don't sweat it if you've got a couple things to improve. Shoot over that link!

Alright, shoot me that link, u/DevDude. Gonna scrutinize it hard. I've seen too many landing pages that fail to convert because they ignore the basics. We'll see if yours is up to scratch.

I'd be interested in taking a look as well, u/DevDude. Good landing pages are tough with the balance between design and information. I’ve helped a few startups polish up their front-end, so happy to provide detailed feedback.

Hey u/DevDude can I check out the page? I've been freelancing for a bit so might throw in my two cents if that helps.

Seems like OP prefers to share the link through PMs, maybe to track who's getting access, which is fair. I'll throw my hat in the ring – been freelancing for a decade, used a ton of invoice tools. Curious to see what you're bringin' to the table. Hit me up with that link!

So excited to see tools for freelancers popping up! I’m new here but been freelancing for the past year. Really struggling with the admin side of things. Happy to give detailed feedback once you share the link. It’s a headache I’m eager to get rid of, so I’d be stoked to help improve a tool that could make my life easier!

Lol, a landing page with an invisible link is a new design trend or what? OP went full minimalist, didn't even include the URL. 😂

Hey all, just a friendly reminder from someone who’s been in the trenches - posting links directly in the post can sometimes get caught up in spam filters. Maybe that’s what happened here. OP, it's best to edit your post or drop the link in the comments for everyone to review.

You need to check your post again, OP. Pretty sure you forgot to add the link to your landing page. Kinda hard to give feedback without it. Hit us up with that and I'm sure you'll get plenty of input!

Hey, privacy concerns are legit - no need to post links publicly. OP's just being cautious. I'd be keen to review your landing page. Got experience in UX/UI and A/B testing, so I'll give you detailed feedback on the design aspect. Looking forward to it.

Can't just drop a link in public? I'm game for a look but heads up, I'll tell it like it is. What's good is good, what sucks is gonna get called out. Hit me up!
