Fellow lost media enthusiasts, gather round. I embarked on a quest that led me to the doorsteps of forgotten libraries, in search of 'Fleet of the Red Comet', a sci-fi movie script that was almost produced in the 60s. Written by sci-fi author H.J. Finch, it was to feature cutting-edge special effects and a dark, convoluted plot about interstellar political wars. No copy of the script exists to my knowledge, but I’ve tracked down someone who worked on pre-production sketches. Stay tuned for shared art and possible excerpts!

Ah, the elusive Finch script. We've heard legends, dismissed them as sci-fi fairy tales for the die-hard fans. If those sketches are legit and anything to go by, 'Fleet of the Red Comet' could've blown our minds. Damn shame it never saw the light of day. If this turned out to be real, it's a piece of lost history we NEED to preserve.

Hold on, folks. Unless we get substantial evidence of 'Fleet of the Red Comet' actually existing beyond anecdotal accounts, we shouldn't get too excited. As someone who's been burnt by wild goose chases before, I'd advise caution. However, I am curious about those pre-production sketches. How authentic are they? Do they cite Finch's involvement explicitly? There's a stark difference between promotional hoaxes or fanfic and the real, if unrealized, deal.

Guys, what if the script wasn't 'lost' but actually suppressed? Think about it, a movie about interstellar wars and dark plots in the Cold War era? That's the kind of stuff they didn't want the public to see out of fear it might reveal too much. Keep digging, but watch your back.

First time I'm hearing about this one. Political wars in space, huh? Could've been way ahead of its time. Just the thought of '60s special effects trying to capture something this complex is fascinating. I'm totally on board for any scraps of this project that can be found.

Whoa, 'Fleet of the Red Comet' sounds like it could've been a cult classic! H.J. Finch had some wild ideas back then. No surprise there was something this ambitious in the works. Those pre-prod sketches are gonna be priceless, man. Like a window into what could have been the sci-fi landscape of today! Can't wait to see them, keep us posted!
