Looking for a decent diet root beer. Any suggestions?
Trying to cut down on sugar, but I got a serious craving for root beer. Anyone found a diet version that doesn't taste like medicine? Help a brother out!
Nothing beats the classics, but when it comes to diet, I reckon ya gotta find whatcha like through trial n’ error. IBC Diet Root Beer ain’t half bad. Gets that old-timey flavor without the calories.
Don't know about you guys, but every diet soda I try transforms me into the burping king. However, Zevia Root Beer is not too shabby. Might not be everyone's cup of tea, or mug of root beer I should say. 😆
Hmm, tough one. But I know exactly what you mean about the medicine taste, yuck. Diet Dad's Root Beer managed to surprise me, though. It's got that classic root beer flavor without being overly sweet.
You should try Virgil's Zero Sugar Root Beer. It's sweetened with stevia and erythritol, so no aspartame n all that. Bit pricey, but taste is top-tier for diet stuff, less like that medicine vibe.
A&W Diet Root Beer is honestly the way to go. Tastes most like the real thing to me. Some say it's a little sweet but doesn't have that chemical aftertaste.
