Why bother with servers when u can just cloud it up?

I mean, seriously, who's still messing with servers these days? Just throw that junk into the cloud and be done with it. Stop wasting time 'perfecting your setup' when AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure do it all for you. And don't even get me started on self-hosted email servers. Just sync everything to the cloud and go full Skynet. It's 2023, people, keep up.

Why stop at cloud servers? Go serverless architecture and never think about servers again. It’s the future—the code just runs, and you scale infinitely. Servers are so 2020. Get with the times!

Self-hosted email servers are a way of life. Privacy and full control over my own communication? Yes please. Cloud is convenient but it doesn't beat the charm and autonomy of running your own mail server.

You're missing a big point here—environmental impact. Cloud data centers are energy hogs, and by running servers ourselves, we can actually be more eco-friendly, especially if we use green energy sources. Not everything should be offloaded to mega corporations.

It ain't just about tech. Have you seen what AWS charges for bandwidth? Cloud is great until you get that surprise bill. If you've got steady workloads, owning your hardware can be way cheaper in the long run.

lol imagine not being able to setup ur own servers smh. Sure, clouds are cool for some stuff, but if you want to call yourself a real admin, you gotta get your hands dirty with actual servers. Plus, tinkering is half the fun!

You trust the cloud more than your own local servers? Think again. Self-hosting might be a pain sometimes, but at least I know where my data is, and who's peeking into it: No one. That peace of mind? Priceless.

Haha, Skynet, nice. But yeah, cloud services are pretty much a game-changer. No hardware to maintain, scalable as hell, and you only pay for what you need. For startups especially, it's a no-brainer.

Not everything is suited for the cloud, my friend. There are compliance and security considerations that can make local servers more appealing, especially for certain industries. Plus, having your physical server can give you that sweet low latency and full control over your setup. It's not always about keeping up with trends, but understanding your specific needs and requirements.
