Here's another classic approach: using humor and exaggeration to mask the deceit. Obviously, nobody is silly enough to think they can 'win' a lifetime supply of something they already get free. But this is precisely the point— the absurdity is meant to lower your guard, get a laugh and then maybe your curiosity gets you to click, maybe even start a conversation with the scammer. The amusing story might even encourage you to share it with a friend (spreading the scam further).
On a more technical note, never ever sign anything without reading it, especially from untrusted, unsolicited sources. A 50-page contract? That's a boat-load of permissions you could unintentionally be signing off. Remember, the devil is in the detail.
TLDR: Doesn't matter if it's jokes or phishing or sob stories, scams are scams and this right here is one of them.
