Got fooled by an ad on insta advertising rare vintage clothes. Spent $200 on a 'one of a kind' jacket that was supposedly thrifted in Japan. Waited 4 weeks for delivery and there's a made in China tag on the inside... Seriously?! Just a caution to you guys, if it looks too good to be true, it probably is!!

I feel your pain, buddy. Similar thing happened to me a few months ago. I bought a 'limited edition' band shirt, just to find out it's readily available on Amazon for a quarter of what I paid. My advice, always cross-check any 'rare find' against eBay, Etsy, and other well-known resale sites to see if it's truly a one-of-a-kind or just a rip-off.

yo man, sorry to hear about that. Yeah, IG is full of these scam companies man. If it’s too good to be true, it prolly is. I've learnt to stick to known retailers and trustworthy sellers on eBay. Still, don’t let this stop you from hunting down those rare threads, ya know!

Professional scam busters here. This scam is becoming more and more popular of late. The 'Made in China' tag is the usual norm. As a rule of thumb, be wary of ads promoting one-off vintage items on platforms like Instagram. Do some research on the company, read customer reviews, and if possible, pay by credit card to protect yourself against potential fraud. Spread the word to save others from falling for this!
