I've read a lot about old pirate maps and hidden treasures. Usually, they mark the spot with an 'X' but sometimes it's more about landmarks like trees and rocks. Make sure to look for unusual stones or tree roots around the sandbox that could point to where you gotta dig. Also, check for any markings on the inside walls of the sandbox. AND be ready to deal with a CURSE just in case, you know, for the sake of adventure.
