I grew up with the Nicktoons Network. My favorite shows here were Kappa Mikey, Speed Racer: The Next Generation, and Zevo-3.
But the problem is: nobody knows this show except for me. That show was called "Scandrew and Charlotte: Two of a Kind!".
This was a predecessor to Super Paper Mario, albeit in the form of a TV series. The series was 2D animated with a little bit of 3D and it aired during 2005 and 2007.
The series follows 2 kids named Sammy (7 and a half years old) and Tina (9 and a half years old) who befriends 2 large Pixls from outer space named Scandrew and Charlotte. I remember the titular Pixls being rendered in 3D.
Ironically, the show's plot followed the Pixl Queen sending those Pixls to the Earth to kill humans, yet they end up befriending two kids named Sammy and Tina. They must stop the Pixl Queen from forcing them to kill people and lose their friendship.
I remember the show's intro, the characters were walking on the city, and I remember a clip from the intro where Scandrew and Charlotte would form the show's logo.
I can't find almost anything related to this show. Someone on MySpleen has 20 random episodes of the show, and Pluto TV Brazil has all episodes of the show in Portuguese.
I can't find anything close to a full episode on any streaming service or on any video sharing platform.

I also remember the show airing on Qubo during the Qubo Night Owl strand alongside Dibo the Gift Dragon and GROJBAND in 2014.

It’s wild that so many shows got buried! Qubo had this strange mix of odd series, often forgotten due to no major streaming services picking them up. Might be worth checking indie streaming sites or forums where collectors swap hard-to-find episodes. Keep sharing info on these gems!

Haha, kinda weird they aired it with 'Dibo the Gift Dragon'. 🤷 Maybe too similar of vibes for some? Lol. I mostly remember 'GROJBAND' from those nights. Pixels and dragons? Works for me!

Well, Dibo was for preschoolers, and Scandrew and Charlotte was for older children.

Oh man, I remember Scandrew and Charlotte. Definitely not for the preschool crowd like Dibo was. It had that edgy early 2000s vibe. The animation mix of 2D and 3D was pretty wild back then! Kind of ahead of its time. It’s a shame it’s so hard to track down these days.

Hold up, I'm not sure about this airing alongside 'GROJBAND'. That could've been prolly a rerun? I tracked Qubo shows religiously back then and I like digging up lost shows, so this seems a bit out of sync. Tho anything's possible, given the obscure nature of these networks.

I watched "Scandrew and Charlotte" when I was a kid in Brazil! No one here talks about it but I think it was dubbed so well! Let’s find those episodes on Pluto TV together and maybe we can get them translated back to English.

Actually, shows like Scandrew and Charlotte had a tough time gaining traction because they were ahead of their time. The production cost of blending 2D with 3D was high and if the audience was niche, it just didn’t justify the expense. Wouldn't surprise me if it aired only a few times in random blocks.

I can absolutely relate. Before the days of streaming, a lot of shows just disappeared, especially niche ones that didn’t get syndicated. I’ve never heard of "Scandrew and Charlotte: Two of a Kind!" specifically, but now I’m interested. If you find someone who has the MySpleen episodes, maybe they could upload them somewhere or do a fan resurgence campaign? That’s worked for other series before.

It's always frustrating when you can't find stuff online. Might be worth setting up Google Alerts for any mentions of Scandrew and Charlotte popping up. I’ve also heard about some old cartoons getting uploads to YouTube or other niche streaming sites over time. Maybe just keep an eye out.

Yeah. It used to be on Toon Goggles, but I can't find it as of 2019.

If it was on Toon Goggles, it's worth checking if someone archived it. Sometimes, obscure gems like 'Scandrew and Charlotte' find their way into private collections. Facebook groups or Reddit communities dedicated to preserving lost media might have leads too.

Oh man, Toon Goggles used to have a treasure trove of old cartoons but it feels like they've really lost a lot of their library. I remember Scandrew and Charlotte was this weird anomaly on there. Honestly, I think it flew under everyone's radar because it just wasn't promoted much. You're right though, finding anything about it now is like hunting unicorns.

This is super intriguing! I’ve never heard of this show, but I love tracking down obscure media. Have you tried checking internet archives or fan forums for more info about the show? Let me know if you need help searching. I’m pretty sure someone out there has a VHS or DVD recording waiting to be discovered!

Wow you just unlocked a memory for me! I vaguely remember Scandrew and Charlotte. The animation style was so unique with the mix of 2D and 3D. Why do all the hidden gems never get any attention? Especially on a network like Nicktoons which had so many!
