As far as I know, it was produced in widescreen, but Nicktoons Network originally aired this in letterboxed widescreen (4:3).
It was called Scandrew & Charlotte: Two of a Kind!. It aired from 2005 until 2007 and had reruns until at least in 2008. It even aired on Nickelodeon in Australia and in Southeast Asia if I remember correctly.
The series followed 2 Pixls (later used in Super Paper Mario) called Scandrew and Charlotte who were pretty ginormous and were sent to Earth to spy on children, yet they befriend 2 human kids named Sammy and Tina and they go on adventures.
If I remember correctly, Scandrew had a voice similar to that of Mr. Krabs and Charlotte had a voice similar to that of Mrs. Puff.
The series also aired on CBBC in the UK during Dick and Dom in Da Bungalow and on ABC3 in Australia. It also aired on Playhouse Disney in Latin America.
Sadly, I can't find anything of this show except for 2 full episodes and images of the show.

Update: I heard from a forum that this show replaced Danny Phantom when Nicktoons aired this. They also aired this at an afternoon schedule during 3 PM.

Yep, I remember this! Mid-2000s Nicktoons did a lot of weird schedule changes. But Scandrew & Charlotte was a weirdly charming show tho, even if it didn't have quite the cult following Danny Phantom did. Not to mention, airing on Nicktoons Network didn't quite have the same reach back then.

Actually, it's quite typical for networks to cycle shows in and out based on various factors like ratings and demographic testing. Nickelodeon's scheduling logic often placed more focus on newer shows in an attempt to freshen up their lineup. Although controversial, these shifts are part of a strategy to test different audience responses.

Whoa, really? 🤯 Can't believe they swapped Danny Phantom for this! I remember watching Danny every day after school, it was such a bummer when it went off. The 3 PM slot was legendary, good times!

There's a good chance more stuff exists on private collectors' tapes or old network archives. Sometimes, special interest forums or underground fan networks have more leads. A classic internet mystery!

Full episodes were once available on Vidme, but it closed down, and nothing has been archived of the episodes.

Hey, I'd love to see those 2 episodes or images if anyone still has them! I'm a part of a lost media group, so we're always on the lookout for stuff like this. Maybe with enough interest, we can gather more bits of the show. Hit me up if you have anything!

The 2 episodes were uploaded by [bluefrog] on YouTube and are called Quiz Whiz-zed! and Working for Scandrette?!?.

Ah actually, bluefrog’s real name is Samuel W. Grimshaw. He is renowned for uploading rare Nickelodeon content from the 90s to the 2000s. I bet more stuff exists on private servers. Not too surprising those episodes might get taken down for copyright though.

Archiving has always been tricky, especially for lesser-known series. Did you know that even now, many old TV recordings are found through personal collections from fans? The sad part is TV networks rarely see the value in preserving media from years ago. That's one reason why sites like YouTube end up being the final refuge for these lost gems — but with copyright so strict, it's a wonder anything survives.

Omg I remember watching it on ABC3 as a kid, but I can't find any clips online either! It's like it vanished into thin air or something! Def sounds like something to bring back or remaster.

Actually, Scandrew & Charlotte is likely a fan-created concept rather than a real show. There are a lot of anecdotes online about forgotten shows, which are usually fictional. If it aired in so many places, there should be more info available.

Wow, Scandrew & Charlotte! I barely remember this show but it sounds like it could be a lost gem. The 'Pixls' concept seems kinda cool, I always thought it was neat when Nick dabbled in more unique storytelling. Too bad it's hard to find now, wouldn’t mind revisiting it!
