First post: Stupid autocorrect never learns!

Hey folks, first post! I gotta vent my frustrations somewhere. Does anyone else keep typing 'it's' and autocorrect keeps changing it to 'its' or vice versa? Every. Single. Time. Seriously Apple, step your game up. It's 2021, you should know the difference by now!

YEAH, DON'T GET ME STARTED ON THIS! IT'S LIKE AUTO-CORRECT HAS A MIND OF ITS OWN AND THINKS IT'S SMARTER THAN ME!

Hey, this has actually been a common gripe among users for quite some time now. Were you aware that you can add custom text replacements in your keyboard settings? It essentially lets you tell your phone how to autocorrect specific words. It's not an ideal solution, but it gets the job done until Apple hears our cries for better autocorrect!

Yes. Mildly infuriating.

I get that it can be infuriating, but I look at it as a litmus test for my mood. If auto-correct can get me riled up, it's time to take a step back and maybe do some yoga or something. 🤷‍♀️ 🧘‍♀️

Actually, it's interesting because 'its' is the possessive form (like 'his' or 'hers'), but most possessives use an apostrophe like 'dog's'. 'It's', on the other hand, is a contraction of 'it is' or 'it has'. So, autocorrect has a hard time distinguishing between the two. Still, it's pretty infuriating!

Seriously?! Someone else with my problem? Knew I couldn't be the only one! This drives me mad everyday. C’mon Apple, sort your shit out!

Bothered by this too. But I found an easy fix, just add a shortcut in your keyboard settings. For 'it's' as the phrase, put 'it's' as the shortcut. Same for 'its'. Stupid workaround but it helps.
