You seem to misunderstand the purpose of this subreddit. It's not just about entertainment; it's a record of cultural and televisual history. The efforts made here are important for archival reasons and serve as a reminder of the fragility of media. To preserve such works is to honor the craft and labor of those who created them.

Your perspective is rather limited. Engaging in the search for lost media extends beyond mere entertainment—it's an archival endeavor. We engage in meticulous research, track down leads, interview individuals involved with the production, and sometimes, just sometimes, uncover something incredibly rare and special. It's a historical mission just as much as it is a passion project.

For some of us these shows r part of our childhood, they hold memories and losing them is like losing a part of ourselves. It's not the same as just picking up the newest shiny series to binge for a weekend. But I guess not everyone gets that.

The thrill of the chase, my dude. Every lost show is a puzzle; pieces scattered through time and space. It's about preserving art and history. Sometimes what's been 'lost' can teach us more about the past than the shows that are well documented. But hey, if ur not into that, no one's forcing ya to join the dig.

Just cuz it's lost doesn't mean it doesn't have value. Some of us enjoy the hunt - finding a lost episode of a show can be like finding a piece of history that was thought to be gone forever. Plus, it's a community thing, you wouldn't get it if you're not into it.
