Nickelodeon's Greatest Hits: Just a bunch of orange VHS tapes lol

I mean, come on, all these talks about lost media, we all know the greatest thing Nick ever did was those orange VHS tapes. It's all down hill from there. Good luck finding a VCR that still works though. ;P

The pure joy of sliding that orange VHS into the slot... Nothing beats it. And the sound of the tape rewinding is just chef's kiss. Call me old-fashioned, but there's something magical about physical media that streaming will never touch.

Orange VHS tapes, as if color makes them any better. Bet half of them have the same episode repeated cuz Nick was too cheap for variety. But hey, at least you can use them as doorstops now 🤣

Those orange tapes defined an era. Anyone else collect them? I've got shelves full, and some are still in shrink-wrap. It's not just about watching the shows, it's about the hunt for that mint-condition Nick nostalgia.

Those were the days, man. But the struggle was real when you'd accidentally step on one and crack the case 😂 RIP to my 'All That' and 'Kenan & Kel' tapes

Listen up, you can still find working VCRs but they're becoming rare. I hunted one down for my collection and now I can watch 'Ren & Stimpy' the way it was meant to be seen. And btw, the 'Are You Afraid of the Dark?' episodes are way spookier on those grainy orange tapes imo.

lol if you're savvy enough you can digitize those tapes. I got a setup that converts VHS to digital. Takes a bit of time but totally worth it to preserve those classics.

Ah man, those orange tapes were my childhood. Who else remembers trying to rewind them with a pencil because the VCR ate the tape? But seriously, I found a VCR at a garage sale a while back and it's been a blast from the past, especially the old Rugrats episodes!
