Does anyone remember 'The Journey of Allen Strange'?

I can't be the only one who remembers 'The Journey of Allen Strange'. It was about an alien who ends up living with a human family. Pretty sure it didn't last too long but had some cool episodes. Wish we could see reruns of it.

Dude, yes! Arjay Smith as Allen was such good casting. He nailed the innocence and curiosity of an alien trying to understand humans. And his dynamic with the Robbins kids was super cool. They covered so many topics too, not just typical alien stuff but like, what it means to be family. They don't make kid's shows with that kind of depth anymore!

Allen Strange deserves a comeback! That episode where he learns about Halloween? Comedy gold. And when he saves the family from that fire using his alien powers, that was something else. #BringBackAllenStrange

They had some truly creative episodes, like the one where Allen enters a computer game. The way they merged sci-fi and family drama really set it apart. It's a shame it doesn't get more recognition nowadays. I swear I read somewhere that some of the episodes are on a lost media archive site, might be worth checking out!

Watched a couple of eps back in the day. It was alright. Didn’t it kinda rip off some other alien stuff from around that time? I mean, it was fun for what it was, not sure it’d stand up to much scrutiny now haha.

Oh man, totally remember that show. Used to watch it with my little bro all the time. Can't believe it's been so long since it aired. Maybe they'll put it on one of the streaming services??

Allen Strange was a classic, underrated really. Not just the whole alien fish-out-of-water thing, but the depth they went into Allen's struggle with being stranded on Earth, that was neat. Plus, his powers were the coolest, like turning into energy and stuff. They did 3 seasons actually, from 97 to 2000. A hidden gem amongst Nick shows. Would love it if they did some kind of reboot or continuation!

Yes! 'The Journey of Allen Strange' was my childhood! I remember waiting for new episodes every week. The concept was so cool back then, wonder how it'd hold up now...
