Stumbled upon an Amazon.com listing of this cancelled video game and bought it. I placed this on my Nintendo Switch and the title card showed Mario and his best friend Cappy walking on a globe. And I played the whole game. I remember the final boss being Bowser in disguise as a ninja, before revealing his true body.
Sadly, I lost the full game in a car crash, and now I'm willing to find the full game and RPX for anyone to play it on Yuzu.

No way, a sequel that massive just slips out on Amazon of all places and you were the one to find it? Nintendo would’ve shut that down faster than a goomba under Mario’s boot. A car crash is one hell of an excuse for no proof, too. Smells like a tall tale, sorry.

As someone who’s dug into the depths of lost and cancelled games for decades, it’s always a bummer to see someone claim they've hit the jackpot only to lose it to such unfortunate circumstances. It's stories like these that fuel the mysteries of lost media. Make sure to snap plenty of pictures and back up your data next time to contribute to the preservation of gaming history!

Hey, I'm pretty active in the emulation scene, especially with Yuzu. If you genuinely had the game, even just a NAND backup from your Switch would have something to salvage. Maybe get in touch with some data recovery services—they can work wonders sometimes. Without any game files, there's hardly anything anyone here can do for you. Keep us updated if you manage to extract anything from your Switch, and I'd be more than happy to assist with dumping the RPX.

If this is legit, you might have stumbled upon one of the greatest finds in recent game collecting history. I'm really interested in any sort of box art, cartridge images, or even broken pieces that could be used for verification. Anything at all could help prove this is real. Without further evidence, though, it's hard for any of us to move forward on this.

I'm calling this out. I've been deep in the speedrunning community for Odyssey and follow all updates on sequels, rumored or not. Nintendo has not released any official sequel. Highly unlikely you found a 'full game' like that, especially on Amazon. Where's the proof? If you have the cartridge still, even damaged, share some photos. Could be a modded version or an elaborate hoax.
