Reimagined Vintage Logos Modernized

As a design exercise, I'm taking vintage logos and giving them a modern twist. Just finished working over the old Pan Am logo. Kept the essence of the globe but stripped it back and added a minimalist touch. If anyone's got suggestions or old logos they'd like to see reworked, drop a comment!

Modernizing vintage logos is a delicate dance. You got any guidelines you follow? Or is it just strip back everything till it looks like every other soulless, modern logo?

lol, Pan Am? Modernizing something that doesn't even exist anymore, how original. Next, you’ll be doing Blockbuster or something.

Oh! Do the British Railways logo please. Lots of potential with those old transport logos, considering how much visual clutter they had back in the day.

How bout the Sega logo? could be rad. Keep the funk but maybe streamline it a bit? Just a thot lol.

Graphic designer here. The exercise of modernizing vintage logos is a fantastic way to flex those design muscles. For your next project, consider tackling the old NASA “worm” logo. Its curves and simplicity can be amplified in a minimalistic style, bringing an interesting contrast between the eras of space exploration.

This sounds awesome. How about taking a crack at the original Apple logo with the rainbow stripes? Might be a challenge to modernize but keep its retro charm!

I'd love to see what you could do with the classic Atari logo. It's already so iconic and leans toward minimalism. But with your modern twist, I'm sure it would be super cool!
