lol guys, let's all agree that McDowell's from Coming to America had the better logo than McDonald's. They even had the 'golden arcs' and the 'Big Mick'. Anyone who disagrees can fight me. 😂

As a logo designer, gotta say that McDowell's choice of parallel arcs over the McDonald's singular arch is kind of visually pleasing. It's like, the symmetry? Aesthetic. Not to forget that 'Coming to America' kinda immortalized it. Don't mess with McDowell's or you'll catch these designer hands! ✋😤

What makes McDowell's logo better is the story behind it. It's a witty take on corporate America and the food industry. They didn't just have the 'golden arcs', the whole interior was a spoof, even the uniforms. Man, 'Coming to America' had some good jabs, it was all in jest but the way McDowell's fully committed to the gag in everything from the menu to the decor was epic.

Love me some McDowell's flair, but no lie – McDonald's branding is genius-level. It's global and instantly recognizable. McDowell's is the bomb for the parody lol but let's not dismiss the OG. McD's been serving billions and that ain't by chance. For real though, would eat a Big Mick any day if it was real, no cap.

Totally agree, McDowell's logo was iconic in its own right! Those golden arcs were a hilarious poke at the golden arches. Gotta respect that slight tilt in the 'M'. And the Big Mick is legendary, the sesame seeds really do make a difference! 😂
