I recommend checking Wayback Machine too. Old band sites often had free downloads or clips that might've been captured. Also, band members sometimes resurface with new projects and could have copies of their old work—worth a shot.

I'm pretty into the Aussie indie scene and collect rarities from that era, Emu's Escape sounds familiar. Sometimes these small bands only released physical copies like CDs or records sold at shows. Your best bet would be to check out local record stores or hit up markets. There are some FB groups dedicated to Sydney's indie rock scene, as well; might be worth asking there too.

I used to record random Triple J segments onto cassettes back then; might have that track lying around in a box somewhere. If I find anything, I'll hit you up.
