So, back in 2012, GMA had partnered with Nintendo and an obscure Filipino production company Popular Productions to produce a Filipino game show for kids known as Paper Mario Party Theatre.
The game show was known to last 22 minutes for each episode. The game show was hosted by someone called Allan Alakazam K., an obscure person that has no Internet evidence (his LinkedIn page mentions that he is a stand up comedian and a magician).
The game show had 20 boy contestants split into 2 teams: Mario's Mushrooms and Bowser's Koopas. All of the contestants would wear masks based on Mario, Luigi, and Bowser, that would obscure their faces.
There were 4 minigames. One of them involved whacking paper targets with a cardboard hammer, and one of them involved a trivia game based on the Mario franchise.
During the 1st season, the winners would receive a toy prize from the show's sponsor, Toy Kingdom (a Filipino version of Toys R Us), and during the other seasons, the winners would receive a Wii U.
Of all the 100 episodes that aired on GMA in Tagalog, none of them have been resurfaced. Someone from Filipino claims to have a single full episode of it recorded on a DVD, but it has been a while and it has no updates.

NOTE: The 100th and final episode of the series lasted 44 minutes instead of the usual 22, was a special, and it aired sometime in March 2016.

44 minutes to say goodbye LOL! Probably was just 22 mins of good content and the rest some cringy farewell speeches. Bet Allan Alakazam K. pulled some magic trick at the end to make everyone disappear along with the show's existence. Poof! Gone!

The 44 minute finale is quite a curious case. Typically, last episodes will feature a culmination of the season's events or bring back fan favorites for a final showdown. Given the interactive game show format, it's possible they included audience participation or a huge final boss battle theme... It's a shame all that history's just missing. Tracking down this DVD from the Filipino claimant should be top priority!

Interesting that the finale would be double-length. Perhaps there was a special segment or a reunion of past contestants? Or maybe they did some kind of live event mixed in with it. I've searched but there's zilch online. If anyone has more info on what went down during that special, we're all ears!

Whoa, 44 mins for the last ep? That's double the fun haha! Must have been packed with tons of extra stuff. Any1 know what made the finale so special?? Maybe some unreleased footage or new minigames that we never got to see... Would kill to watch it now!

Vintage game show buff here. I can vouch for the rarity of certain media from the Philippines. It’s not just the lack of digital backups; tapes were often wiped or not stored properly. If that episode on DVD is real, it’d be a goldmine. Do we know anything more about the person who claimed to have it?

Okay, so I work at Toy Kingdom and I vaguely remember some promo stuff for this show back in the day – posters, toys, etc. Pretty sure it didn't get much traction which explains the lack of online footprint. Shame, 'cause a Wii U was a hot prize back then.

hey all, first-time poster here—got really intrigued by this. did some quick searches and nothing comes up. maybe we should start a dedicated effort to reach out to past contestants? or even tracking down Allan Alakazam K. has anyone tried looking into his magic gigs, could be a lead there!

Dude, Paper Mario Party Theatre sounds wild! Never thought I'd hear about a Mario-themed game show. With no episodes online though, makes you wonder how much of this is blown out of proportion, or if it's legit lost media. 🤔 Anyone tried contacting GMA or Popular Productions directly?
