So, if anyone knows about this obscure series, let me know.
It was an obscure 2000s American-Australian co-production between G4 (a defunct gaming channel) and ABC.
The series was hosted by Jerome Thompson, a guy who I couldn't find any info about him online.
The series was a typical 22-minute game review show, where the host would review video games. At the end, he would replicate a stunt from the game.
The series lasted 20 episodes. The final episode was reportedly focused on Manhunt.
I remember watching it on G4 as a kid, and I liked it.
Fast forward to today, and whenever I try to search for it, no info has came up on the show, save for the title card of the show. It's like the show has vanished into the void.
If anyone has any leads on it, please let me know.

Eh, sounds like something that would have been posted on YouTube by now if it ever existed. Seriously, who does stunts based on video games? Jerome Thompson is probably a nobody or a made-up name. Lot of bootleg 'game shows' back then trying to be the next G4, could be one of those.

I catalogue video game-related shows as a hobby, and 'Underground Garage Pants' rings a bell, but info is indeed scarce. Jerome Thompson doesn't pop up on any notable databases. The stunt element is unique – might help in tracking it down. Perhaps approach the task by looking into G4's licensing deals during the 2000s, as any paperwork could provide leads on show distribution or production members who might be reachable. In the meantime, were there any specific games or memorable stunts that stand out in your memory? It could provide useful search keywords.

I totally remember UGP! There were some dope reviews on there and Jerome's stunts were like Jackass but for video games lol. Thought I was the only one who even knew it existed. If there's a lost media grail list, this show's on it for sure.

Now, this is a challenge. I've tracked down some rare shows in the past, but 'Underground Garage Pants' isn't one I've crossed paths with before. ABC might have archives, but accessing them can be tough. There’s a chance Jerome wasn't a big name – he might've ditched the biz after the series. I've got a friend who’s nuts about collecting old game show recordings, I'll reach out and report back if I strike gold.

This is right up my alley. The show 'Underground Garage Pants' is extremely obscure and it seems that only a small amount of information about its existence is floating around the internet. Jerome Thompson may have been a stage name or a lesser-known gaming celebrity at the time. As G4 media is defunct, sourcing these episodes is going to be a challenge. The best bet would be reaching out to collectors who might've recorded these episodes or chatter in forums dedicated to lost media. Keep us updated on any developments.

Hey, remember catching this show late at night sometimes. Pretty sure I saw the episode with Manhunt that you mentioned. It was pretty wild – Jerome did an in-game cosplay if I'm not mistaken. Sadly, I haven't seen any of the episodes since back in the day. You've got me curious now, gonna do some digging around myself and I'll drop a line if I find something!
