So, there is a mention on Deadline about Nickelodeon. One of the projects was A Fairly OddHalloween.

"According to Butch Hartman, he is working on a project called A Fairly OddHalloween, which will be a continuation of the TV movie franchise of the live-action/CGI hybrid OddParents movies, and will follow Timmy Turner celebrating Halloween. It will come out in Halloween 2017."

Then, Variety confirmed that the special was cancelled in 2016, 1 year prior to its release date, despite it being finished.

No production material has been surfaced of this unreleased TV movie.

Wait, was this supposed to be like a sequel to the original show or its own thing? I used to binge-watch Fairly OddParents every day after school!

They probably canceled it because they didn't want to deal with the backlash from parents or something. Always seems like there's more going on behind the scenes with these big networks. 🙄

Yep, this isn't the first time Nick shelved a project at the last minute. Weird that we haven't seen even a single frame leak though. Usually, something surfaces when these things get canceled. Someone should dig deeper; there might be more to the story.
