Lost Episode of Blue's Clues???

Alright, folks, after countless hours of deep diving into obscure corners of the internet, I think I've found evidence pointing toward a lost episode of Blue's Clues. According to some old forums and a couple of archived TV listings, there was an episode that aired only once and features Blue getting lost in a carnival. The episode is supposed to be darker than usual, which may explain why it was pulled. Anyone have any more info? Were you there for that one special airing?
