This is a call to action! The 80s indie film 'Yesterday's Heroes' was so impactful for me, but now I can't find hide nor hair of it ANYWHERE. It's like it's been erased from history. I refuse to let this piece of art disappear. Who's with me on starting a dedicated search team?

I mean, if it's really that good, how come it's so obscure? Not saying it's not worth looking for, but maybe manage your expectations, folks. A lot of indie stuff went under because it just didn't hit the mark. Happy to be proven wrong though.

I dive into old VHS bins all the time and it's nuts the stuff that pops up. 'Yesterday’s Heroes' would be a serious score. Keep at it, sometimes these tapes just show up in the last place you'd think to look. If you collect a list of places to call, I can spend some weekends hitting up shops and asking around.

This is the kind of project I live for! We should definitely check university film archives and maybe get in touch with some of the film's actors or crew on social media. There's got to be someone who still has a copy, we just need to find that person. Even check eBay regularly, sometimes treasures pop up there!

I'm totally in for the search. 'Yesterday’s Heroes' was way ahead of its time. We should scour through online archives and forums, ask any indie filmmakers from that era if they have a copy or know where one can be found. Lost media hunts can be long but so worth it. 💪💪

Heard about this film in collector circles but never seen a copy myself. Indie films from the 80s can be tough to track down, especially when they didn’t make a big splash. Could try reaching out to old indie film distributors or rental stores that might have old stock. Anybody got leads?

Omg, 'Yesterday's Heroes' is a hidden gem! The soundtrack alone is worth digging up a VHS for. I’ve been to a few flea markets looking for old films, this one’s definitely on my radar now. Let’s set up a discord or something to coordinate this search!
