You must only share ones that were screamers disguised as trailers, gameplay videos, sightings of a monster, or an advertisement.

When I was a kid, I remember seeing 2 screamers: one that was disguised as gameplay for Super Mario 3D World (a Wii U game), and one that was disguised as a sighting of the Loch Ness Monster. I remember that the last screamer featured a cartoony Loch Ness monster (possibly from The Family Ness) with a loud scream from The Scary Maze game.

The screamer pretending to be gameplay footage from Super Mario 3D World might be catalogued in the screamers archive, though many of these were taken down for violating hosting policies (with good reason). As for the Nessie sighting, if it was using assets from The Family Ness, it might fall under copyright claims too. Screamers often get scrubbed from the net because they violate terms of service, so finding lost ones is a real challenge. I'll dig around and see if there's anything in the wayback machine or old forums. Anyone remember the filename or have more details?

The Loch Ness Monster one is new to me, but screamers hiding as cryptid sightings were all the rage once upon a time. They preyed on our willingness to believe in the unbelievable, and then boom, they hit you with the jumpscare. Sneaky and annoying for sure.

Woah, that Super Mario 3D World screamer sounds super familiar, I think my cousin showed me something like that and it freaked me out for weeks. The thing had what looked like regular gameplay but then Bowser popped up shrieking like a banshee, not cool. Anyone got a link to that or is it truly lost to the web?

Dug deep into some forums from way back and came across mention of a screamer vid that was masked as a 'leaked' commercial for a popular soft drink. It was around the time viral marketing was a big thing, and nobody expected it. The scream was so intense it made headlines at the time because it caused some incidents. But, the video is scrubbed from the usual places. Probably stuck on some old hard drive or lost to time.

In the realm of lost media, screamers were quite rampant in the early 2000s. One of the most infamous was disguised as a trailer for a non-existent indie film titled 'The Hills Echo'. The trailer featured scenic shots and soothing music for nearly 90% of its duration until a grotesque figure popped up screaming. It became a nuisance because people would often share it unaware of its true nature. The original video is now a digital ghost, although some reuploads without the screamer exist, they are hard to come by.

found this subreddit looking for a monster sighting video that ended up being a screamer. thought i was watching a legit cryptid clip and then nearly peed myself when the creature 'screamed' at the camera. Wish I remembered where to find it, my friends didn’t believe me when I told them about it.

I remember there was this 'gameplay' video back in the day that everyone thought was an early look at a new survival horror game but it turned into a screamer with some kind of witch popping up, completely unexpected. Can't for the life of me remember the name though. Anyone else remember this?
