Crazy Search for 'Cry Baby Lane'

Guys, my VHS collection is missing the 'holy grail' – 'Cry Baby Lane'. The Nickelodeon movie that scared kids half to death back in 2000 and got banned. No re-runs, no official releases. I've hit up every rummage sale and thrift store in a 30-mile radius – even tried reaching out to old Nickelodeon employees on LinkedIn. Any leads on where this tape might be hiding would be rad!

Hey, 'Cry Baby Lane' resurfaced in 2011 on TeenNick after being thought lost for over a decade. Since then, copies have certainly been circulating. They’re rare, but not impossible to find. Keep your eyes peeled on auction sites, and join dedicated horror VHS groups on social media. Persistence is key!

lmao good luck finding that, everyone knows the CIA confiscated them to use in mind control experiments. Better start scouring Area 51.

ayo don't sleep on estate sales, they can be gold mines for rare tapes. also, ask if they got stuff that ain’t on display, sometimes the best stuff is tucked away. just gotta get chatty with the sellers.

Have you tried looking into whether any digital versions got leaked? I know it's not the same as having the VHS, but it could be a temporary fix while you keep digging. Sometimes digitized versions of lost media can lead you back to physical copies when you contact the right people.

You're on the hunt for the Holy Grail for sure. One thing that might work is posting a 'Wanted' ad on collector forums, also try r/VHS and r/nickelodeon, as well as places like Facebook Marketplace. There’s always someone who’s got what you want, just gotta wave the right bait.

Heard that some copies ended up overseas. Maybe try reaching out to international VHS communities? It's a long shot but sometimes these tapes surface in the weirdest places.

Man, 'Cry Baby Lane' is such a legend! Did you check out old forum posts? Sometimes collectors talk about their scores there and might be willing to sell or trade, especially if they know it's for a true fan like you.
