Waynehead - Partially Found TV Series

This was an animated series for children that followed Damey Wayne (a kid version of Damon Wayans) that was nicknamed Waynehead and had adventures in New York City. I was able to find a few episodes of this Warner Bros. produced animated series from the 90s.

Waynehead? Seriously? Lmao there are way better shows that deserve to be found. But hey, one man's trash is another man's treasure, I guess.

Waynehead brings back memories, used to watch it as a kid but didn't catch many episodes. Cool that you found some of it! Didn't even think people remembered this show.

Waynehead is a fascinating case in the lost media community. It's a partially found series, but the quest for complete discovery is ongoing. Warner Bros. might still have archives so contacting them wouldn't hurt. There could also be international dubs or broadcasts floating around. Typically, the more elusive episodes turn up eventually, often from the least expected sources!

I've seen some Waynehead episodes floating around on collector forums, but they're often in terrible quality. Do the ones you found look watchable? It's great that there's interest in this series again. It's a slice of 90s culture that shouldn't be forgotten.

Waynehead is such an underrated gem from the WB animation vault. It's got that classic 90s vibe and though it's not as widely recognized as other shows from that era, it definitely deserves more attention. Plus, with Damon Wayans’ involvement, it had a unique comedic flavor. If you can track down the rest of the episodes, they might be a goldmine for animation enthusiasts! If you need help getting the rest of the series, try checking out some animation collector forums or old VHS trading sites.

omg Waynehead!!! I remember catching episodes of this on Saturday mornings, but it totally slipped my mind until now. The fact that it's Warner Bros. makes me hope that they might drop the whole series on HBO Max or something someday. Fingers crossed 🤞
