A round of applause to everyone! The archival work done in these parts is nothing short of impressive. As an archivist, I understand the meticulous nature of this work. Our collective efforts have a ripple effect, offering invaluable insights into the socio-cultural fabric of past generations. Each rediscovery is a piece in the ever-expanding cultural mosaic of human history. It's an honor to contribute and collaborate in this incredible endeavor.

lol, y’all ever think maybe there's a reason no one's seen 'The Day My Butt Went Psycho' lost episode since ’03? But nah, keep digging through grandma's attic for those juicy VHS tapes. Maybe you’ll find her old aerobics recordings instead 😂

That's what’s up! VHS tapes from my attic turned out to have some old recorded tv specials no one else seemed to have. Uploaded them and it felt like I hit treasure. It’s all of us keeping an eye out that makes this work. Some say it’s a waste of time, I say it’s a treasure hunt and y’all are my crew!

Nostalgia is powerful, isn't it? Some of these lost films and shows hold deep childhood memories. It’s more than just a hunt—it's bringing back a part of us that we thought was gone forever. The thrill when someone uncovers an old sitcom or a public domain film nobody knew still existed... it's the reason I check this sub every darn day!

While I admire the enthusiasm, bear in mind that not all lost media WANTS to be found. Some things are better left in the past, and sometimes there's a reason they were 'forgotten'. But, when it's about saving pieces of culture from being lost to time, I'm all in.

Absolutely! Finding that rare '60s cartoon episode that aired once and then got lost in a studio's basement – there’s nothing like it. It’s often a wild goose chase, but when you get a community together digging through old archives and personal collections, its crazy the gold we can find!
