Gamers! 'Demon's Crest' for the SNES apparently had a stage that was entirely scrapped. Knowing Capcom's knack for hiding Easter eggs, it could be that the stage still exists within the game's code. Anyone down for a group effort to comb through the ROM for clues? Could be our own little treasure hunt!

Just adding to the previous comments, looking into Capcom's history of game development during the SNES era might give us clues. Remember, they reused assets across multiple games sometimes. If we identify any 'orphan' assets that don't appear in-game, we could be onto something. The stage might be lost, but elements of it could've been recycled, giving us a trail to follow.

Everyone's always after these mythical bits of gaming history. I'll believe it when I see it, but hey, nothing wrong with a bit of fun, right? I guess I could take a peek; I've poked around in hex editors before. But don't get your hopes up too much, the devs probably scrapped it for a reason.

The mysterious lost level of Demon's Crest is totally a legend, but I'm up for the challenge. I’ve got some background in game dev and I can help with deciphering code or looking at sprite sheets. Let's set up a Discord or something to coordinate!

Data miner here. First things first, we'll need to look at tilesets, unused sprites, and potentially orphaned code that doesn't link anywhere. Capcom did have a tendency to leave stuff in their game ROMs. I've got some tools that could be useful. Mapping out memory addresses that contain game graphic data would be a start. And, of course, we'll need multiple pairs of eyes to catch something that doesn't belong. A group effort could work wonders.

Heard about this lost stage a while back, I know some peeps were saying it could be in there somewhere. I'm down to dig into the game's code. Got a buddy who's good with this kind of thing, might be able to spot if they left any assets in.
