Anyone remember this? It was like early 2000s, you'd solve math puzzles and go on quests. Feeling super nostalgic about it but seems like it never made it past the school computers. Would kill to play it again, haha!

Been on a similar hunt for retro educational software. These pieces of nostalgia are tricky to track down because they were often part of school licensing deals and never sold retail. Keep an eye on thrift stores and garage sales, you'll be surprised what people dig out of their attics.

Educational software like Crystal Quest really shaped a lot of our current digital learning tools. The game probably runs on software that's not supported on modern systems anymore, which is why it's so hard to find. If you're really desperate, you might want to look into emulating old school operating systems on your computer. That's how I revisit some of my teaching materials from way back!

Yeah, I think I remember that one. It competed with stuff like Math Blaster, right? Those edutainment games had a special charm. They'd disguise learning with fun and honestly, more effective than straight up rote learning imo. I've got an archive of old educational games I've managed to find over the years, I'll take a look to see if I've got Crystal Quest and dm you if I do!

omg Crystal Quest Math Adventure was my jam back in the day! They had it on those chunky monitors in the library. I still remember collecting those crystals and the sound effects. Didn't it have like a wizard character guiding you through? I'd also love to find a way to play it again, even just for the nostalgia trip.
