Lost dub of PAW Patrol

I need help finding a Hawaiian dub of PAW Patrol. It was broadcast in 2013 and was titled Hui 'ilio.

Actually, among the niche of dubbed kids television, the Hawaiian versions have a reputation for being particularly elusive. They were often broadcast only locally or regionally, and with DVR tech not as prevalent then, not many thought to preserve them. Your best bet may be old forums or contacting local Hawaiian broadcasters directly. You never know when you might stumble upon a gem in some obscure corner of the internet.

Oh great, another 'I can't find my specific obscure version of a popular kid show' post 🙄. Google it like the rest of us, dude. Good luck searching in the haystack for an ugly duck.

Like wow man, a Hawaiian PAW Patrol dub. That’s some slice of lost media pie right there. Don’t have any details though... peace.

What's up! So, dub artist here. Let me tell you, dubs disappear all the time. It's wild. For all you know, some bloke might have the only recorded copy on a VHS in their attic. Just keep searching, you never know! Also, did you try the official PAW Patrol site or contacting the network or the creators? Sometimes they keep archives of this stuff.

Hawaiian dub sounds cool! Didn't know they did them in regional languages. Sorry, wish I could help but I'm new to this lost media thing. Hope you find it tho. Good luck!

Aloha! As a native Hawaiian and a PAW Patrol enthusiast, I remember stumbling upon Hui 'ilio about 7 years ago on Oceanic Time Warner Cable, if my memory serves me right. However, since then, this channel and most of its broadcasts have been swallowed by the vast ocean of media. I'll contact my old contacts who might have kept the old tapes for kids in their family. No guarantees but hey, we can only try, right? 🤷‍♂️

Oceanic Time Warner Cable isn't even real. It's made up.

I remember watching Hui 'ilio on an unknown Hawaiian language TV channel on DIRECTV with my neighbors.

I've been on the hunt for this for a while now. ‘Hui 'ilio’ is like a ghost – traces of it here and there but nothing concrete. I talked to some people who worked in Hawaiian broadcasting around that time and even they're stumped. If you caught it on DIRECTV, there's gotta be a schedule or a record somewhere. We should comb through TV guides from 2013, check for Hawaiian language segments or kids' blocks. Would be invaluable if someone had recordings from back then, even just clips or audio.

Hey folks, so I did some digging. You're half right, Oceanic Time Warner Cable used to be a big name in Hawaii before Spectrum took over. They did have content in Hawaiian but 'Hui 'ilio' on DIRECTV sounds like it'd be on ʻŌlelo Community Media or something similar. They broadcast all sorts of local shows and community-oriented content. Worth checking their archives or reaching out?

uh, Oceanic Time Warner Cable is def real, it was a thing before becoming Spectrum. It's not that far fetched that they'd try to get local content like a Hawaiian dub of a show. Not sure why you'd think it's completely made up, but you might be mixing it up with something else? Also no shame in not remembering the channel, DIRECTV has like a bajillion of them lmao.
