While it’s cool that you’re thinking of water conservation, make sure you’re not just creating more work or using up more resources in the end. There's a balance between saving water and maintaining basic hygiene.

Interesting approach... but the fundamental principles of cleaning argue against it. Continuous water flow won't provide the same agitation as scrubbing. Cleaning efficiency is a product of chemical action, temperature, time, and mechanical force. Your method only uses the first two effectively.

This sounds like a short term solution that could cause long term problems. Be careful of creating a bigger mess!

I tried it once, but ended up with a film of soap scum on the tiles. Took me ages to get rid of it. Good luck if it works for you though.

Absolutely not recommended. The soapy residue could actually turn your shower into a petri dish of bacteria. Scrubbing physically removes debris and filth which just soap won't do. Plus, the soap film can make you slip. If you want to save water, invest in eco-friendly cleaning products and a water-saving shower head.

haha i mean why not? if you're already there, and the soap's gotta go down the drain, it's like two birds with one stone.

Ew, no. That's not cleaning, that's just making a soapy mess and spreading germs around. Proper scrubbing is essential! You wouldn't just wipe your dishes with a soap bar and call it a day, would you?
