In 2013, PBS Kids released one TV series called "Kalamazoo!" (also known on IMDb as Kalamazoo! 1 Simple Rule About Keeping Your Children!). The series was live-action, but had CGI too (the main part of the series was CGI). The series was mainly CGI, but the segments were live action.
The series followed Kid JoJo, a child who worked at Penny's, a pizzeria. His mother, Penny, assisted him about 1 legendary rule about keeping your children; the Simple Rule.
I couldn't find any episodes of the series, but I found a poster of the series that has the show's first look image and the show's theme song audio (which is just the show's name repeated 10 times through some music). It used to air on PBS Kids and also on Hulu. Sadly the series is no more.

We've been trying to track down episodes of Kalamazoo! for our archive of underrated TV shows. Any leads on where to find full episodes would be greatly appreciated. According to our records, the series was pretty groundbreaking with its use of mixed media. It would be a shame if it was completely lost to time.

Honestly, the premise was good but the follow-through just wasn't there. Too much back and forth between live-action and CGI, and the kids just got confused. The 'legendary rule' was a total flop, barely memorable. They should've stuck with either full animation or live-action, not both.

Been collecting lost media for ages, Kalamazoo! is def a rare gem. High quality rips of the show are scarce because it wasn't aired for long and barely anyone recorded it. The show used real-life pizzerias for the live-action segments, a local spot in Michigan inspired it. Intellectual property disputes with the shop's branding caused a cancellation if memory serves right. If anyone has the tapes, get them digital pronto!

The CGI in Kalamazoo! wasn't half bad considering it was for a kid's show. The lighting on the characters was pretty advanced for its time, and they even got the cheese texture looking almost real. Hats off to the graphics team, should've been more appreciated IMO.
