Is spelling 'definitely' as 'definately' the new norm now?!

Everywhere I click it's 'definately' this and 'definately' that. People, it's 'definitely'! With an 'i'! Not to be pedantic, but come on. There are red squiggly lines for a reason! Autocorrect is there for a reason! It's literally trying to help you NOT look foolish. At this point, it's like a plague spreading through the internet. We 'definately' need a solution!

People just don't read anymore, that's the problem. And when they do, it's tweets, not books. No wonder 'definately' is taking over. Autocorrect can't fix laziness.

In a world of 'definatelys', be the 'definitely'. There's poetry in knowing the difference, a subtle protest against the homogenization of thought. Don't let the misspelling prevail; choose to be the quiet red squiggle in a sea of error.

Another one?! I just corrected someone on this yesterday! It's like they're doing it on purpose now. Someone needs to teach these folks a lesson or something!

The degradation of language on the internet is a multifaceted issue characterized by the interplay of informal digital communication practices and the lack of emphasis on correct spelling in educational curricula. The prevalence of 'definately' is symptomatic of a larger trend where incorrect language use becomes normalized through repeated exposure. Combatting this requires a combined effort in both reinforcing proper spelling in educational settings and creating an online culture that values linguistic accuracy.

Ugh, the 'definately' epidemic is something I see daily, and it's driving me up the wall. The word is 'DEFINITELY'. We're in a world where spellcheck is baked into nearly every app, yet people still manage to butcher it. Let's start a campaign or something to make proper spelling great again. Who's with me?
