Coworker at my office eats with mouth open. Can't stand it. LOL

It's like sitting next to a wood chipper, I swear. Just munch, smack, slurp. We're not barn animals, Karen! Chewing with your trap shut ain't that hard! It's a symphony of grossness, a daily test of my patience. Might start imitating her till she gets the hint hahaha.

LOL, start a bet on how many chews per minute. Turn your misery into entertainment 🤣 Karen's Opera of Mastication: Opening soon!

Here's a diabolical idea, start bringing in snacks that are impossible to eat loudly. Marshmallows? Peanut butter? Let's see her smack her way through that!

Just tell her, man. 'Hey, Karen? Your chewing... it's pretty loud. Could you try to keep it down a bit?' Sometimes direct is the best route to go. People can't fix what they don't realize is a problem.

invest in some noise-cancelling headphones dude, best decision you'll ever make. Seriously. Changed my entire work experience for the better.

Hey, I totally get you. These situations can be really annoying. If I were you, I'd politely bring it up to her directly, though. Sometimes people have no idea they're being loud. If that doesn't work, maybe escalate it to HR or management? They should be ensuring a comfortable work environment for everyone.

Haha, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery... or the best passive aggressive tactic in the office. Go for it, make it a big show. Eat some soup or something really slurpable and give her a taste of her own medicine!

Feel your pain, bud. There's a guy in my office could give Karen a run for her money. I've found headphones can be a miracle cure for this kinda noise pollution. Or maybe start a 'polite eating' club and conspicuously not invite her...
