Literally spent 10 minutes wrestling with the plastic packaging of a new pair of headphones. Why is it SO difficult to open these? You need scissors, knives, a chainsaw, and a PhD to get through this stuff. And don't get me started on that sharp plastic that seems determined to slice your fingers open. Whose bright idea was this?!

As someone in the packaging industry, I can tell you it’s all about theft prevention and making the package tamper-evident. Plus, those blister packs make the product look good and reduce shoplifting, cause they're hard to pocket. But yeah, they could definitely improve the consumer's experience. Some companies are already working on frustration-free packaging, so let's hope it becomes the norm.

And after you finally get into it you've got like a mountain of plastic waste that's just gonna end up in the ocean or some landfill, killing wildlife and polluting the earth. It's ridiculous!!! There should be laws against this, not kidding.
