Mislabelled buttons on elevators are a MENACE

Button says 'Close Door', but activates 'Open Door' instead! Seriously, who wires these things? I've seen this in MULTIPLE buildings now. It's like they're trying to make us late on purpose. What if you're in a hurry and accidentally hit the wrong one because it's labelled incorrectly? Takes incompetence to a whole new level. Infuriating!

What if the buttons are correct and we're all just in another universe where everything's backward? Mind. Blown. 🤯😆

I'm done with these idiotic designs. Time wasted, appointments missed, someone's gotta take responsibility for this garbage. If I find the person who's wiring these, oh boy, will there be words.

Ever think that it's not a mistake? What if it's all part of a big plot to mess with our heads? These 'errors' just happen too often to be a coincidence. They're testing us!

It's quite perplexing, indeed. I've taken the liberty of drafting a complaint to several building management companies outlining the issue. One even had the audacity to tell me it was 'part of their charm'. Charm? More like a lawsuit waiting to happen when someone misses something crucial!

This is exactly why I take the stairs WHEREVER possible. No mislabelled buttons, no getting trapped, and it's a free workout. Elevators are traps, I tell ya, TRAPS!

lol, just think of it as a surprise game every time you get on an elevator. Keeps things spicy. 😂

As someone who's dabbled in a bit of electronics, it's not rocket science to wire a button correctly. I mean, come on, it's basic circuitry! Someone's either having a laugh at our expense or there's a serious lack of quality control going on.

Ugh, this is SO annoying. Happened to me in a hotel once and I was late to a wedding because of it. You'd think something as simple as an elevator button would be foolproof. 🙄
