Tried to reheat pizza in the microwave. Came out like a chewy piece of cardboard with rubber cheese. Is edible pizza the next day too much to ask for?

If you care about your pizza experience (which I bet you do since we're all here), the microwave is just not gonna cut it. The uneven heating and texture of microwaved pizza is a sad, sad reality. You want a cast-iron skillet on medium-low heat, cover that bad boy with a foil dome to trap some steam and ensure the cheese melts while the crust gets back its crunch. Save your pizza, save the world.

Listen up, microwaved pizza is just the worst culinary atrocity you can commit. What you gotta do is preheat your oven with a baking sheet inside. Once it's hot, throw your slices on for like 5-10 minutes at 375°F. The result? Perfectly crisped up crust, melted cheese like the day it was born. Thank me later.

Ugh, feel you. Microwaves and pizza are natural enemies. If you want to save leftover pizza, try reheating it in a skillet on the stove. A bit of water next to the slice under a lid and it'll steam just enough to make it decent. Also, a toaster oven is a game changer for leftovers!
