Crying Over Spilled Coffee

Can tell ya how ANNOYING it is to spill coffee on your keyboard and then spend the next 20 mins trying to clean it while it messes up whatever document/game/browser you had open? Lost half of a 2-hour document because of a stupid coffee spill, AND NOW HALF MY KEYS ARE STICKY! 😫🤬

Aw man, that really sucks! I've felt your pain. If it makes you feel any better, I once spilled a whole bowl of soup into my laptop. Try not to stress too much because as annoying as it is, things will work out. Sending good vibes your way! 💖

Man, feel your pain! If it's still sticky after cleaning with alcohol, you might wanna try a DIY deep clean. Unplug your keyboard, pop out keys as much as you can with a keycap puller(not too harsh though), get a small brush and clean with isopropyl alcohol or warm water and soap. Let it fully dry before plugging back in.

You know, spilling coffee on your keyboard will not just cause a sticky mess but also possibly conduct electricity leading to failures, which could potentially mean a short circuit. In the future, consider investing in a waterproof keyboard, or better still, maintain some distance between your refreshments and your electronic equipment. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure, as they say.

That's why I never drink or eat near my computer. It's not a dining table, people. Hope your next cup stays where it belongs. 🙄

Gg mate, rip doc. Pro tip: always save frequently, in any game or doc, you never know when the coffee monster will strike. Also, mechanical keyboards are way easier to clean than membrane ones just FYI.

Hey buddy! That's definitely irritating, but on the bright side, it gives you a chance to upgrade to a better keyboard. Maybe one that's spill-proof? Remember, every infuriating situation is just an opportunity in disguise. ☺️👍

Oof, been there bud. Next time immediately unplug and even disassemble the keyboard if you can, then clean it with isopropanol alcohol. It evaporates without residue and is less likely to damage the circuitry. Well, if it's not too late for that, consider getting one of those keyboard dust covers for when you're drinking near the PC. Take care!
