Just milked a King Cobra

Milking one of these bad boys for their venom is something else. Gotta admit, it’s hardcore. You need serious expertise in snake handling, reflexes gotta be sharp as their fangs, and obviously, you need the anti-venom close cause one bad move, lights out.

Handling them is all about respect and technique. No sudden moves or you're asking for trouble. Anyone else into venomous critters here?

Your work's important for antivenom production, saving lives out there. It's incredible, but remember the safety protocols are paramount. And for anyone reading this — these activities should only be performed by professionals!

Dude, that's wild! Like living on the edge much? I'll stick to watching from the sidelines... Or, you know, YouTube. Stay safe, man.

Professional herpetologist here. Milking venom is a risky business, and although it is crucial for antivenom production, it's not recommended without training and a controlled environment. Always prioritize safety and animal welfare, folks.

This is what I'm talking about! Pure adrenaline. Milking venom is next level, I've done skydiving, scuba with sharks, but this is something else. Care to share more of the rush?

I'm all about snakes, but venomous ones freak me out. I just stick to my ball pythons, they're as chill as it gets. Can't imagine dancing with a cobra, mad respect! Got pics of the beast?

whoa, seriously? I've just started getting into herpetology and the thought of milking a cobra is insane to me! Got any tips for a beginner, like, how'd you even get started with venom collection??

Nice! King Cobra venom milking's truly an art, not for the faint-hearted. Can't stress enough the importance of having proper antivenom handy though. Had a close call once and it's no joke. What kind of equipment you using?
