Who doesn't want a flamethrower? Big fan of controlled chaos here. Just finished building mine and damn, she's a beauty. Here's a quick how-to for those interested:
Took me a few weeks, tested it in a controlled environment. Flames go BRRRR! Only for those who know their stuff; this ain't beginner's play.

Interesting build. Could you elaborate on the type of brass fittings you're using? I've been experimenting with custom nozzles for better fuel efficiency, and I'm always looking for new ideas. Also, what's your igniter's lifespan looking like with the grill piezo?

That's badass! Tried making one last year, but learned the hard way about the importance of pressure valves. Had a bit of a blowback incident, nothin' serious, but singed my brows off. Stay safe and keep lighting up, just... carefully, ok?

Alright, I gotta admit I'm impressed, but propane? That's child's play. You should consider upgrading to a MAPP gas setup for a hotter and more colorful flame. Also, if you haven’t yet, double up on safety by including an emergency stop valve. As fun as it is to watch stuff burn, you don't want your weekend project to be the end of you, or worse – someone else.

Listen, I get the appeal of building your own flamethrower, but you better make sure you're not violating any local laws. In my area, that kind of thing could get you in serious trouble. And, uh, insurance companies aren't too keen on paying for 'controlled chaos' gone wrong.

Sounds epic, dude! Got any pics or videos of that beast in action? Curious about the range you're getting with those brass fittings. I've been tinkering with similar projects but can't get my flames past 4 feet without risking a backdraft.
