Library books beware...

The local kids have found a new game: hide and shriek. They tuck themselves between library shelves and jump out at unsuspecting readers, scaring the Dickens out of them. Some of the older ones are adding their own 'edits' to book endings. Where are the parents??

Haha, imagine finding a plot twist IRL because some kid wrote their own ending. Crowdsourced storytelling at its finest!

That's awful. Can you imagine finally getting some peace to read and BOO, heart attack city. And editing books? Those kids need some serious discipline. Not cool.

As a librarian, this is alarming. We've had to tighten up security and are considering banning unaccompanied minors. Our books deserve better, and so do our patrons.

Lol, the 'edits' might actually be an improvement to some of those snoozefests. Anyway, good luck finding the parents, they're probably thankful for the break!

Isn't this just kids being kids? I mean, at least they're in the library not glued to screens! Maybe it's a way to get em to actually read something, even if it's just to vandalize. Gotta find some positives, right?

Kids these days... We used to respect books and libraries. Would never think of defacing them. It's a shame, really.

This is disrespectful to both readers and the books. Libraries are sanctuaries of knowledge, not playgrounds. There should be supervision. What if someone damages a rare edition?

Haha, library's turning into a haunted house with that 'hide and shriek'! It’s all fun and games until someone gets a heart attack lol
