Meet Zeus - My rescue pup just won his first agility trial!

Zeus, a two-year-old mix I rescued last year, just won his first agility trial and I'm beyond proud! :D Training was tough but this guy's got smarts and speed. Had to share with peeps who 'get it'. Anyone else here into agility?

Way to go, Zeus! Love hearing success stories! I've got a rescue who's got potential, and I’ve been pondering agility training. Did you do it all yourself or join a class? I’ve heard mixed things about doing agility training solo. Any advice?

Wow, first trial and a win? You've gotta share some tips—my terrier mix is as stubborn as a mule, but I'm sure he'd excel at this with the right approach. What inspired you to start agility training?

That's so cool, congrats! My dog's idea of agility is zooming towards the couch for nap time lol.

First place? That's killer for your first go! What was your training regimen like? Zeus must have a wicked weaves game.

Agility? Absolutely! It's such a great way to engage their minds and keep em’ active. I'd totally recommend checking out some local agility clubs if you haven't already. Great for socializing Zeus, and you can learn a ton from watching the seasoned dogs and handlers work. Any plans for more trials, or are you guys just soaking in the win for now?

An agile intellect to match his speed? Rare combo, cherish that. Having a dog that's not only smart but also athletic is like winning the lottery... but with more drool and fur flying around. Keep up the good work!

Zeus is a champ, go Zeus! My pup's got two left feet but we love him anyway. Sounds like Zeus is a natural!

Heck yeah, agility is life! Congrats to Zeus! My border collie just competed in her 3rd event. The training can be so intense, but it's awesome to watch them fly through that course, isn't it? What's his favorite obstacle?
