Anyone Remembers the Jello 1-2-3?

Stumbling upon this sub brought back some serious memories, especially about Jello 1-2-3. It was a dessert that would separate into 3 layers as it sets. You got the creamy top, the mousse-like middle, and the traditional Jello at the bottom, all in a single mix! So simple, yet so fun. Too bad they don't make it anymore.

Ahh Jello 1-2-3, fond memories but let's be honest, tasting each layer individually was a weird experience 🤷‍♂️.

Well, personally I don't miss it as much. Trying to cut down sugar you see. But I agree, it was definitely fun to have those layers in a dessert.

Used to work for a company that manufactured food products. These decisions to discontinue are usually driven by sales. Given how special Jello 1-2-3 was, I wouldn't be surprised if it ever made a comeback.

Absolutely remember it! It was so much fun watching it separate into layers and experimenting with flavors. Best was the original strawberry though. I miss so many discontinued snacks like this one. Such a bummer!

Professional chef chiming in. I actually tried to recreate the Jello 1-2-3 a while back. Fiddly to get the proportions right to make it set properly. Loads of fun and the nostalgia hit hard. If you're feeling adventurous, might be worth a trying to DIY it!

Jello 1-2-3? Lol, fancy pudding with private school education. Give me the ol' regular Jello any day.

Jello aficionado here. Jello 1-2-3 was indeed a unique product and had quite a popularity back in the day. The 1-2-3 stood for the three distinct layers that formed after preparation: a creamy top, a mousse-like middle, and your traditional Jello base. It was discontinued due to declining sales, but it's definitely missed by many.

Oh man, I remember Jello 1-2-3! My grandma used to make it for us kids. Was like magic watching it separate into layers. Those were simpler times, indeed.
